I have now been creating art for over 50 years and still find the process quite fascinating and rewarding as a catalyst for change and inquiry. Being the eternal student has allowed me the opportunity to grow as a person and as a dedicated craftsperson. I like doing things until I am satisfied with the result. To me beauty is not something that ever goes out of fashion and so I will observe and continually adjust the piece until a harmony and balance is created. I have looked to the masters who have come before me as guides to find my voice. Brancusi, Noguchi, Matisse, Klee, O’Keefe, Picasso and Miro are but some of those that have inspired my vision. The harmony of form and color are quite compelling in my quest for beauty and the integrity of the materials.
